I've been using finasteride since I was in my early thirties. It has been a great help since I started using it.
But, it has been the worst. I used to get it by prescription for my BPH and I got no results. Now, I've been using it as my own and have noticed an odd difference in the amount of time I spend in the bathroom. I'm not even sure what it is that has made my skin more sensitive to finasteride, but I know it has been the main cause of my hair loss. I'm thinking of going back on it and starting a new prescription. Thanks.
The other thing I noticed is that the medication has a bit of a taste. I'm a bit confused and have never used it before, but I've seen some reports of people having problems with how they taste after taking it. I've also noticed it is the first time I've ever used it, and it has always been the same! I also have a slight metallic taste in my mouth that I have never had before.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm going to start using finasteride as soon as I get a prescription for it. I'm also starting to wonder if I should start taking a different medicine. I've heard that this might be helpful for some people, but I don't know what that is. I'm going to ask for some advice from my doctor to find out more about this.

I've tried taking the topical 5mg (1 mg) of finasteride daily and it has worked fine for me. My hair is getting stronger and thicker, but I'm not seeing any noticeable difference in thickness. Does anyone have any tips?

I've been taking finasteride daily for a while, and it seems to be working fine. It was my first time taking it, so it was a surprise to hear the side effects were so mild. It didn't last long, and the taste of the medication was gone. I'll talk to my doctor about it soon.

I've been on finasteride for a couple of years and it has been a little different. It doesn't have any negative effects, it just has a nice, sweet taste and feels like a really sweet treat. I'm going to be taking it once a day so I know exactly how I feel.

I have been taking finasteride for a few years now and it has been a great help. I've noticed some things that have made my skin more sensitive to the medication and this is one of them. The only thing that is different is the amount of time I have to take it daily. It's not as fast as I had before taking the medication and it still takes longer. The only thing that is different is the taste of the medication. I'm not sure what to recommend. Anyone have any tips for me?
